Rama First Nation Introduces a New, Improved Post-Secondary Education Policy

On June 17, 2019, Chief and Council approved revisions to the Rama First Nation Post-Secondary Education policy. Here are some of the highlights of the changes:

  1. The removal of fixed application deadlines. With few restrictions, students can now apply whenever they are ready. Students are still encouraged to apply as early as they are able to ensure assistance is available.
  2. Increase in full-time assistance by $250 per semester.
  3. Increase in maximum tuition for part-time programs to $7,500/year
  4. Introduction of special assistance for students in Ojibwe Language Programs.

You can find a copy of the full post-secondary education policy here.
